Qi Gong is a holistic system of self healing and meditation. It is a practice which has been enjoyed by the Chinese people for over 5000 years.
It includes healing posture, movement, self massage, breathing techniques and meditation.

Qi Gong simply means working with life energy. It is based on the energy anatomy of the Meridian system, and is primarily concerned with enhancing the body's ability to prevent disease and improve and maintain health.

Broadly speaking the practice can divided into two categories. Internal (passive) Qi Gong, called Nei Dan which does not involve any external movement, and External (active) Qi Gong, called Wei Dan which does. Often the practice combines and integrates both internal and external categories for maximum benefits.
